Dr. Jason F. Meachum was the third child born to the late Clifford B. Meachum and Dorthy Chatmon Meachum on February 7, 1982.

Dr. Jason F. Meachum was born into ministry through is late father and mother. At an early age, Dr. Jason F. Meachum began developing his love for Christian music. As his musical gift expanded, so did his love for God and God’s people.

Dr. Jason F. Meachum attended school in the Spring ISD. He attended Link Elementary, Wells Middle School where he played basketball and went on to graduate from Westfield High School in the year 2000. His passion to endlessly continue growing and learning has compelled him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Theology at the College of Biblical Studies. Doctorate degree in divinity which was a desire of his father the Late Rev. Clifford Meachum. Dr. Jason F. Meachum is a small business owner who also holds a management position in the corporate arena.

On July 25, 2004, Pastor J. Meachum proclaimed his calling to preach the Word of God. In April 2015, he started New Birth Tabernacle Church and when his father became ill, Dr. Jason F. Meachum accepted the charge to continue the legacy of his father, the late Clifford B. Meachum Jr. at Starlight Missionary Baptist Church. On January 3, 2016, New Birth Tabernacle joined forces with Starlight MBC to be a beacon for the Kingdom of God. Since merging the ministries, we are seeing “New Birth” at Starlight Missionary BaptistChurch.

Dr. Jason F. Meachum teaches his members how to apply the word of GOD to their lives in a practical, illustrated way that the young and old can comprehend. Dr. Jason F. Meachum has under his leadership thirteen active ministries, six sons in the ministry, and a number of other supporters in the ministry. Dr. Jason F. Meachum heart desires to teach, preach and live for GOD.

Dr. Meachum is a committed father of two children, Jayden & Makayla Meachum. His mother Dorothy Meachum, brother Devon Meachum, and sister Sharon Burnside have been with him throughout to support his Ministry. He knows with the help of God there is nothing impossible!
